- You enjoy the feel of the unique llama fiber. This fiber is super soft, hypoallergenic, durable and does not pill so easily!
- You help Aiayu create job opportunities in Bolivia and preserve the heritage of traditional knitting. Bolivian workers enjoy a fair wage plus ergonomic sitting, lighting and heating in the work space!
- You help protect the environment as llama fiber is naturally sustainable and Aiayu uses natural colors. This means far less dying!
Aiayu does shows social and environmental responsibility on many more levels!
- 75% of the water is reused, which means much less waste water.
- Solid waste is also carefully managed and does not end up uncontrolled in the ground.
- The production factory uses natural gas, which means much lower carbon footprint.
And is if all that was not enough, your Aiayu product will come in a biodegradable plastic bag, wrapped in recycled paper or cardboard! It doesn't get much more sustainable than that!
